"We must find time to stop and thank the people who make a difference in our lives."
John F. Kennedy
Short are the days. Cold is the temperature. Crisp is the air.
It is Christmastime.
No matter our age, there seems to be something magical about this time of year. I believe it goes beyond the material gifts and decorations.
Life’s daily agenda has become like a rollercoaster with accelerating speed. Most of us barely have enough hours in the day to accomplish what we deem necessary. The holiday season allows that ride to briefly stop so that we may include a few moments with those we hold dear. Through the gatherings of family, friends, neighbors, and colleagues, we express appreciation for the difference others make in our lives. It is this sharing of humanity that makes life abundant.
This has been quite a year for VALOR American Home. Through the rising support of our family of customers and well-wishers, recipients of the VALOR Gives program have more than doubled over last year. From this, pride fills my heart with appreciation as its strength. Many thanks to all for this growing patronage.
A new year is on the horizon. With God’s continued support and guidance, VALOR American Home will soon be adding new offerings to its catalog of products. New artisans will be added to the mix and many new stories told in A Moment in America. Exciting days are ahead!
I feel rich today. There is food at my table. My feet are warm. I am free. For this, I give thanks. I take nothing for granted, as it can all change in an instant.-- In addition, I am most thankful for those in my life. From that, I feel loved. Perhaps, that is truly the magic of the season.
Best wishes to all for a new year full of good health and happiness.
Merry Christmas,
